Message from

Dr Sivanathan Chandramohan,

WIRES Chairperson

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure and honour I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you to this year’s WIRES congress.

Interventional radiology continues to be at the forefront of medical advancements, revolutionising patient care and transforming lives. As pioneers in this rapidly evolving discipline, it is our collective responsibility to embrace innovation, new technologies, and collaboration. Through collaboration, we have the power to transcend individual limitations and unlock new frontiers of knowledge. This congress will serve as a platform for us to come together, learn from one another, and push the boundaries of our field.

Over the course of this congress, we have curated a diverse program encompassing a wide array of topics, including vascular and non-vascular interventions, interventional oncology, mortality and morbidity case studies, and interactive workshops. Our esteemed panel of speakers comprises leading experts and visionaries who will share their invaluable insights, experiences, and expertise with all of us.

Beyond the scientific sessions, this congress also offers numerous opportunities for networking, fostering new relationships, and forging collaborations. The collective intelligence and collaboration that emerges from these interactions will undoubtedly shape the future of interventional radiology and guide our journey towards excellence.

I invite you all to an enriching and fulfilling congress. Let us embark on this remarkable journey together!

Yours Sincerely,

Dr Sivanathan Chandramohan
WIRES Chairperson
